I'm still Single, too!!!??!!!
So, I was reading over my previous blog post I'm still Single!!!??!!! and I thought it would be fitting and fun to do a bit of a follow up and (kind of) explain some things.
1. I haven't always been single.
As I was rereading the previous post it may have seemed like I have never dated. I have. I haven't dated many men in the past but I have dated. The few (extremely few) men that I have dated are wonderful men. We're still friends. However, I have spent well over the majority of my life as a single girl.
2. I'm not opposed to marriage.
I would love to be married. Seriously. If you had asked me 3 years ago I would have said, "NO." Flat out. I've had a tough past. But God has been working in my life and redeeming my past. He has placed awesome married couples in my life that have shown me how marriages can last.
3. I will love my husband.
As I was rereading the post I thought I came across as not giving my future husband my heart. I TOTALLY would. But, he wouldn't be my everything. Jesus would. That's how it would be. :)
4. The dog in the photo is (sadly) not my dog
This is the one that I know ALL of you were wondering about. The Dog in the photo of the last post is not my dog. I want a St. Bernard someday. Why? Because they are awesome! They drool everywhere but they are so awesome! Who doesn't need a little drool in their lives?!
